American Romanticism
1) What about the story did you find particularly Romantic? You may want to reread the section on Romanticism again to refresh your memory. Give at least two examples with direct evidence for each

That no one could sleep for 20 years

That Van Winkle was a normal person
“A simple good-natured fellow, of the name of Rip Van Winkle”

Ropewalk is a good example for Romanticism because he uses his imagination to escape to a place to take his mind off of his work.

I choose this picture because Spider Man is a real good example of an romantics. Peter is an original person like everybody else but he gets bite by a spider that gives him super powers. That part takes some imagination to understand what is going on because spiders don’t give you super strength.
